About Me

Ever since I was a little girl, I begged my parents to have a pet, any pet!  After several years I finally wore my parents down and my dream came true in the form of two adorable puppies: Sandy and Shelby.  A decade later, I graduated college and moved into my first apartment.  The first thing I did, after buying furniture, was to adopt my cat, Casey, from the Humane Society.  I couldn't imagine a "home" without a pet in it.  Around the same time, I discovered my second passion in life (after pets) - digital photography.  As a college graduation present, I received my very first digital camera. Now with the ability to take as many photos as I wanted without having to pay to develop my film to see how they "turned out", I proceeded to take thousands of photos!  Admittedly, most of those photos were of Casey.

Pet-ography joins two loves of my life: pets and photography. I love capturing the personality of every pet with my camera.  My goal is to photograph your pet's unique facial expressions and entertaining mannerisms for prosperity in an artistic format that every pet parent will want to proudly show off.

I can happily make recommendations for photographers that do wedding, maternity, or newborn photography, but I personally do not do those types of work.   I do not mind including the human family members in my shoots, in fact I encourage it, but the focus is always on the pet!
